    seriously dubai in the list?
You must be outta of your mind to include some of the richest countries with high spending rates in the list. Oman, Singapore, Mauritius, Maldives wont let your corpse on the road be there at that price.Where do you plan to stay at that price? Underground in the burrows with some rodents?

Haha agree based on my reading. Maldives is a luxury destination by a long yardstick. Similarly for Dubai – I’m looking for skydiving destinations and Dubai is by far THE most expensive of them all, in fact the cost is 100% more than other places. I suppose that extends to rooms, food, and sightseeing as well.

  2. Nepal has so many points going for it, a rich culture that will allow you to experience it first hand with as many festivals as there are days in the year and so much more. What I really love about Nepal, as an expat living here, is that is such a peaceful country. They are so kind to tourists, except the extracting money from your pocket part, which they do so well. But if it’s a few rupees someone overcharges me to get, well, oh well. I love the warm smiles and ‘namastes’ I get as I pass my neighbors.

My big question is why are these articles still pointing people to Thailand. Didn’t they have a coup? Doesn’t that put a little question mark on that country? Why is Nepal so far down on the list. Of all the tourists I’ve hosted and spoken to, nobody didn’t adore Nepal. Come to Nepal for an amazing time on a budget.
